The data for this gene has been retracted from the IIPGA website. Additionally, the HGNC has renamed Defb2 to Defb4.

Through the close examination of the human genome sequence, two regions of chromosome 8 were found to share greater than 99% similarity to Defb4 as sequenced within this PGA. Genotype and sequence results are both highly questionable and largely uninformative due to these two very similar genomic regions.
